Egypt reports highest daily increase in coronavirus cases

Egypt reported on Monday its highest daily increase in coronavirus cases on Monday with 189 new infections, bringing its total number to 3,333, according to a health ministry statement.
The death toll now stands at 250, with 11 new fatalities linked to the pandemic recorded on Monday, the ministry added.
89 Egyptians have recovered and were discharged from quarantine hospitals, according to the ministry, bringing the total number of recoveries so far to 821.
