Egypt reports its biggest daily jump in coronavirus deaths of 91 on Sunday

Egypt on Sunday reported its biggest daily jump in coronavirus deaths with 91 new fatalities, taking the total to 1,575, according to a health ministry statement.

The ministry also confirmed 1,618 new coronavirus infections, taking the total in Egypt to 44,598. However, the total number of recoveries has risen to 11,931 on Sunday from 11,529 on Saturday, the statement added.
