Egypt Said to Receive French, Russian, U.S., German Wheat Offers

Egypt’s General Authority for Supply Commodities received the following offers for its wheat-import tender today, according to two traders involved in the tender who asked not to be identified because they aren’t authorized to speak to the media.

The grain is for shipment Feb. 11-20. Each cargo is 60,000 tons unless otherwise stated and prices are per ton on a free-on-board basis.

France – Louis Dreyfus at $284.84 – Nidera at $287.00 – Cargill at $287.25 – Bunge at $289.87 – Invivo at $289.50 – Glencore at $289.00

Russia – Louis Dreyfus at $294.74 – Cargill at $293.25 – Nidera 55,000 at $293.50 – Aston at $296.65 – Venus 55,000/60,000 at $299.90

Ukraine – Donkol at $297.00 – Venus 55,000/60,000 at $298.27

U.S. Soft Red Winter – Ameropa 55,000 at $265.00

U.S. Hard Red Winter – Venus 55,000 at $284.00

Germany – Vitol at $286.00

Romania – Ameropa at $295.00 – Toepfer at $297.91
