Egypt Says to Launch Integrated License by Oct at Maximum

 An official source in National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA), has revealed that the Ministry will offer the integrated operator license by end of September or it will extended to early October Maximum.

The source has denied in an exclusive to Amwal Al Ghad the delaying of the license to the next year, asserting that NTRA finalized all the technical and pricing procedures, noting that the license will be offered on the cabinet within days.

Telecom Egypt (TE), has asserted that the negotiations with the three mobile phone operators regarding the problems which hinder any progress.

Eng. Mohamed Al-Nawawi has emphasized to Amwal Al Ghad that TE that the repeated political turmoil and crises delayed offering the license.

NTRA and Information and Communication Technology Ministry (MCIT) are targeting to delay the integrated license for three months to be offered in the last quarter of this year.

An official source in the broad directors of NTRA confirmed that the political unrest and reshuffle postponed the license till now.
