Egyptian Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour said the government is targeting volume of exports worth EGP 160 million within this year.
This comes as more than 1392 new exporters have entered the market of which volume of exports surpassed EGP 3.625 billion during 2013, the minister noted.
With the aim of bolstering and doubling Egypt’s volume of exports, Abdel Nour asserted that his ministry will work with full capacity to support all the export sectors and remove all the obstacles encountered by the exporters.
