Egypt sets three-year timeline for Gaza reconstruction – PM
Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly announced on Tuesday that Egypt has outlined the general framework for Gaza’s reconstruction, estimating that the process will be completed within three years.
Speaking at a press conference, Prime Minister Madbouly emphasised that Egypt’s technical vision for rebuilding Gaza is designed to ensure efficiency, sustainability, and rapid progress.
Egypt’s Construction Expertise Recognised in Africa
During his recent visit to Ethiopia, the prime minister said he held meetings with several African leaders, who praised Egyptian construction companies for their outstanding work and contributions to major development projects across the continent.
Palestinian President Expresses Gratitude to Egypt
Prime Minister Madbouly addressed his recent meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who expressed deep appreciation to the Egyptian people and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for their steadfast support of the Palestinian cause. Abbas commended Egypt’s leadership in spearheading reconstruction efforts and its unwavering commitment to assisting the people of Gaza.
The Egyptian government remains committed to accelerating relief efforts, mobilising resources, and coordinating international support to ensure the swift and effective rebuilding of Gaza, reinforcing its role as a key regional player in humanitarian and reconstruction initiatives.
