Egypt signs 34 agreements to pay arrears

Egypt’s finance and trade ministries have signed 34 agreements to settle arrears payable to exporters among export support programme.

The agreements were signed with local and foreign companies to settle dues owed by the Export Development Fund (EDF).

It is worth noting that the Egyptian government launched an initiative to support companies with expansion plans to boost their investments and production capacities which will increase their exports.

The initiative includes the payment of arrears owed by the EDF to exporters over a period of five years.
