Egypt spends EGP26bln on investment projects in Beheira

The total expenditure on the investment plan and national projects in Beheira governorate amounted to 26 billion Egyptian pounds ($1.599 billion) in one year, General Hisham Amna, governor of Beheira.

He added that the investment projects that have been implemented during the last period include the development of the city of Rashid, establishing a fishing port with total investments of  half billion Egyptian pounds.

Amna further noted  that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi   has approved the establishment of the new of Rashid city on an area of 3100  feddans, to be similar to the new Alamein city, in addition to Bashayer Alkhair project, which aims to implement 33 buildings totaling 4629 units on an area of 30 feddans.
