Egypt to offer Finance Ministry’s building for sale in Sept

The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) is set to sale the Ministry of Finance’s building in downtown in September, Asharq Business reported on Tuesday, citing unnamed government official.

The building will be transformed into a multi-purpose building and a start-ups hub, the official added.

The sale will be executed in two phases, the first is related to the technical offers, followed by the financial offers phase to decide upon the buyer, he said.

This is part of TSFE’s plan to transform downtown Cairo into a regional start-ups hub, aiming on raising the country’s technical services’ exports from $3 billion to $10 billion, the source added.
