Egypt, UAE firms discuss expanding petroleum investments
Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, discussed on Tuesday plans to expand UAE investments in the country’s petroleum sector during talks with a delegation from Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and Dragon Oil.
The discussions focused on opportunities to increase Emirati investments in aviation fuel supply, as well as oil and natural gas exploration, development, and production activities in Egypt.
Badawi said the Egyptian-UAE partnership in the petroleum sector serves as a strong example of Arab economic integration, highlighting the successes achieved by UAE companies operating in Egypt and their commitment to expanding investment programmes in the country.
