UAE, Egypt ink Low-income Housing Protocol

A protocol on corporation to deliver 50.061 residential units between the Egyptian Ministry of Housing and the UAE has been signed Monday.

The protocol was signed by Egypt’s Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouli and UAE Minister of State Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber was in the presence of Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.

Minister Madbouli noted that the protocol is part of the government’s social housing project to carry out one million homes for low-income citizens.

The residential units will locate in Cairo (Badr City), Alexandria (Borg El Arab), Port Said (El Raswa), Ismailia (Fayed, east Qantara, El Tal El Kebeer, and Abou Atwa), Suez (Ataqa), Qalyubia (Khanka and Shoubra Elkhiema),  Dakahlia (Taqseem 15 May),  Monufia (Abu Mashhour and Berket El Sabaa), Damietta (Kafr Saad), Beheira (Wadi El Natrun), Giza (Dahshour), Minya (New Minya), Sohag (Kouthar District), Qena (El Saleheya, Naga’ Hammadi, Waqf, and El Taramsa), Luxor (El Qarna, Arment, El Tood, Esna), Red Sea (Hurghada), and South Sinai (Abu Zenima, Abou Redis, El-Tor , Nuweiba, Taba, and Dahab).
