Egyptian actor Ahmed Malek named Dior’s first male MENA Ambassador

The Egyptian, Cairo-born actor Ahmed Malek has become the first male ambassador for Dior in the Middle East. Malek will represent the luxury brand’s fashion and perfumes.

“He will embody the spirit and singularity of Dior style, with its timeless and modern signature – reinvented each season by Kim Jones, artistic director of the men’s collections,” the statement by Dior read.

This is not Malek’s first luxury brand deal.  In June, Malek  has been announced as Cartier’s newest ambassador from the Middle East region.

The rising star is known for the Arab audience for his roles in  the series “La Totfe’ El Shams” in which he played Adam and his role as Sief in “Ma’a Sabq Alesrar”. Globally He is famous for his roles in Netflix’s “The Swimmers,” and the 2020 Australian adventure drama film “The Furnace”.

Malek’s next appear will be in the new BBC series “Boiling Point.”

The French luxury brand’s first official ambassador for the Middle East was Saudi actor and musician Aseel Omran.
