Egyptian Embassy In Slovenia Marks 2 Years of Revolt

The Egyptian ambassador in Slovenia, Heba Sedhom, said on occasion of marking the 2nd anniversary of January 25th Revolution, the embassy had a big celebration on January 21st at the oldest Opera House in the Slovenian  capital of Ljubljana, with the participation of Reda Troupe for Folklore Arts.

Both of the Egyptian and Arab communities in Slovenia, besides a number of Slovene ministers participated in the celebration. The General Secretary of the presidency also attended as a representative of the Slovene President, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Economic and Political Affairs and the Head of the Slovenian Constitutional Court, in addition to a number of public figures.

The ambassador has delivered a speech about the political developments occurred in Egypt since 2011. The celebration received by great consideration of the Slovenian side. About 70 thousand Slovenian tourists visit Egypt every year, and the bilateral relations witness remarkable development.

Slovenia is one of the EU countries, with which Egypt can develop its economic relations down the track.
