Egyptian Exchange Briefing 08/03/2023

The Egyptian Exchange witnessed a drop in its main index, EGX 30, of a percentage of -0.71 percent to 16315.62. The index opened at 16432.56, with a recorded day high value of 16532.41 and a day low value of 16226.61.

EGX 70 EWI climbed by 0.35 percent to close at 3020.6, when it opened at 3010.05. The index recorded a day high value of 3030.07 and a day low value of 2992.37.

Another drop was in the EGX 100 EWI index which fell by -0.23 percent to close at 4437.63 when it opened at 4447.98. The fall was slight in this index, and it recorded a day high value of 4469.53 and a day low value of 4409.26.

EGX 50 EWI lost -0.84 percent of its value to close at 2829.06. The index opened at 2853.04, and recorded a day high value of 2864.53 and a day low value of 2822.22.

The Egyptian Market cap lost around 5 billion Egyptian pounds today.
