Egyptian Exchange market briefing 05/06/2023

The Egyptian Exchange closed low on Monday with the main index, EGX 30, dropping by -0.63 percent to 17,345.90. The index lost 109.58 points, recording a day high value of 17,570.55 and a day low value of 17,341.28.

EGX 70 soared by 2.04 percent to 3,461.23, gaining 69.34 points. It recorded a day high value of 3,495.24 and a day low value of 3,391.89.

EGX 30 Capped inched down by -0.69 percent and lost 145.49 points, to close at 20,833.14. The index recorded a day high value of 21,089.00 and a day low value of 20,831.20.

The Egyptian Exchange market cap lost around six billion EGP today.
