Egyptian Federation Demands 2 Ministers To Launch 3 Logistical Investment Areas

The Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Commerce has demanded from the Housing Minister, Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab, and Transportation Minister, Eng. Ibrahim El-Demeiry, to launch 3 areas for new logistical commercial investments projects in 6th October City, 10th of Ramadan City and Borg El Arab during the remaining period of the current year.

Ahmed Al-Wakeel,The Chairman of Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Commerce has stated to Amwal Al Ghad, that process of launching was agreed by the ministers of transportation and housing in the former government of Dr. Hesham Kandil and sponsored by Bassem Oda, former Minister of Supply, but the fate of the proposal became unknown after June 30th demonstrations.

“These areas  will be for all investors in general and not intended to Turkish investors only just as it was agreed upon before June 30th, and the investment cost for the areas is not determined yet until identifying the specific areas for the establishment.” Al-Wakeel added.

The Chairman further revealed the addressing of the Egyptian Federation to the Turkish Chambers of Commerce and all the foreign and Arab chambers participating in the commercial investment in Egypt during the coming period without distinction.
