Egyptian Finance to Raise T-Bills Worth EGP 6.5 bln Tomorrow

The Egyptian Finance Ministry will offer tomorrow 182-and 364 day treasury bills with EGP 6.5 billion.

Through its official website, the ministry said the first offer which is 182-day worth EGP 2.5 billion whereas the second offer which is 364-day worth EGP 4 billion.

The Ministry has explained that it is aiming to borrow EGP 16.5 billion treasury bills and bonds from the local market.

The Ministry has pointed out that it postponed Sunday’s auctions to Monday due to 6th of October holiday, in addition there will be 1.5- 5- and 10 years treasury bonds with total value EGP 4.5 billion.
