The Egyptian pound was broadly stable against the US dollar during early trading on Tuesday, with exchange rates showing limited movement across major Egyptian banks as of 11:10 a.m. local time (08:10 GMT).

The dollar traded at an average of EGP 54.32 for buying and EGP 54.42 for selling across five major banks, according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad English.

The pound has traded within a relatively narrow range against the dollar in recent weeks, with exchange rates remaining broadly stable across the banking sector.
