Egyptian President approves $500m loan from IBRD to finance social housing

On 5 July, Egypt signed an agreement with the IBRD to obtain additional financing of $500 million for the comprehensive housing funding programme.
The funding will help low-income earners find affordable housing and support the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund.
