Egyptian student launches Egypt Metro app for seamless navigation

Egyptian Student at Cairo University, Osama Hamdy, launched Egypt Metro app to help passengers with seamless navigation, according to a local press reported on Saturday.

The application informs users which metro station to ride from and to get off at when they select their location and their desired destination.

It also provides users with directions to the nearest metro station via Google Maps. The Android users can download the application now from Google Play.

The application also provides passengers with metro lines to take, where to switch lines, and a briefing of all the stations the passenger will pass through.

“I would always have trouble navigating the metro lines and would always get lost, and when I found that a lot of people were like me, I thought I would do something to help make things easier,” Hamdy said in an interview with the local press.
