Egyptian-Ukrainian trade exchange sees $2.6bn in 2019

Bilateral trade between Egypt and Ukraine reached $2.6 billion in 2019, the Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation announced.

Egypt will always be Ukraine’s largest trade partner in Africa and the Middle East, the ministry noted in a statement on Wednesday.

The most important fields of cooperation between the two countries are communications, construction, finance, services, tourism, industry, and agriculture.

On the other hand, the Minister of International Cooperation, Rania El-Mashat, has met with a high-level Ukrainian delegation led by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Ihor Zhovkva, to prepare for the joint Egyptian-Ukrainian committee.
