Egypt’s agricultural exports had exceeded 6.3 million tons in 2022 for the first time in history, Ministry of Agriculture’s spokesman Mohamed el-Qersh said on Sunday.
The Ministry has recently succeeded in exporting agricultural products to 63 new markets, el-Qersh added in a phone interview on an Egyptian TV channel.
He further continued that citrus, orange, potatoes, strawberries, grapes and vegetables topped the country’s key agricultural exports.
