Egypt’s Ahly coach to use big guns in Cairo derby against Zamalek

Ahead of the Cairo derby showdown against Zamalek, Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry said that his players are fit for the game, adding that he will not rest any of his key-players despite the early snatching of the Egyptian Premier League title.

Egyptian Premier League champions Ahly, who secured the title four weeks before its end, are set to face rivals Zamalek, who placed third on the team table with 66 points on the final matchday of the domestic tournament on Monday.

“I will face Zamalek with the regular squad, as I will not rest the key-players due to the game’s importance for the fans and the technical staff,” El-Badry was quoted as saying on the club’s official website on Saturday.

“Despite securing the title early, the game against Zamalek has special preparations for the players, technical staff and fans, so I look forward to introducing a superb performance during the game.”

“All Ahly players are fit for the game against Zamalek, and we will do our best to finish the season with a high performance to please the team’s supporters,” El-Badry said. Source: Ahram online sports
