Egypt’s annual urban inflation falls 14.2% in March – CAPMAS

Egypt’s annual urban consumer price inflation dropped 14.2 percent in March from 14.4 percent in February, the country’s state-owned statistics agency CAPMAS said on Wednesday.

Egypt has implemented a series of tough austerity measures to help meet the terms of a $12 billion IMF loan programme it signed in late 2016.
