Egypt’s Arab Contractors mulls new projects in four African countries

Egypt’s state-run construction firm Arab Contractors studies executing a number of projects in four foreign countries within the current year, a senior official said on Sunday.

The projects will include the implementation of three drinking water stations in Senegal as well as one hospital in Abidjan, AC’s head of African sector Ibrahim Mabrouk added.

The works are also set to encompass one hospital and one road projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo, besides some marine flagships in Tunisia, Mabrouk said.

“Our current business volume abroad reached around $2 billion,” he concluded.
