Egypt’s Armed Forces, SYMX sign contract to establish stem cell therapeutic centre

Egyptian armed forces signed a contract to establish the International Center for research and treatment of stem cells in cooperation with American healthcare SYMX, said the military spokesperson of the armed forces on Sunday.

The deal contributes to providing advanced medical services in Egypt, according to the statement.

The centre will help to rehabilitee the researchers and provide them with the appropriate environment in light of the successive developments in stem cells’ field that have helped in the treatment of many diseases.

The armed forces seek to be updated with scientific developments to be able to provide an integrated medical system in line with the vision of the new republic, Khaled Issa director of Egypt Centre for Research and Regenerative Medicine (ECRRM), said.
