Egypt’s auto sales down by 70% in H1

Egypt’s automotive sales fell by 69.88 percent during the first half of 2023 to 36,845 cars, according to the Automotive Marketing Information Council’s (AMIC) statement on Tuesday.

According to AMIC’s report, which received a copy of Amwal Al Ghad, indicated that the car sales dropped by 64.8 percent to 6331 cars compared to 17,964 cars in June 2022.

Egypt’s sales of passenger vehicles fell by 71 percent to 26.869 cars compared to 92.621, as well as trucks sales dropped by 71 percent to 5,994 compared to 20.645,000, the report added.
