Egypt’s EGAAD considers infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia, Iraq

Egyptian African Arab Consortium for Development (EGAAD) is planning to implement its new projects in foreign markets including Saudi Arabia and Iraq during the current period, its CEO Reda Boulos, said on Tuesday.

Boulos further added that EGAAD is currently looking to study opportunities for infrastructure projects including road and electricity works amid an international competition.

He also stressed that the new projects that will be in Saudi Arabia and Iraq represent a good competitive opportunity for Egyptian companies to participate in implementation based on their strong expertise in field of infrastructure and modern transport mega-projects.

Saudi Arabia and Iraq are witnessing international competition from specialised companies for development and construction projects. However, there are foreign firms from China, Turkey, India and others compete for new enterprise opportunities.
