Egypt’s EGPC, Huawei sign digital transformation pact

The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and Huawei Technologies signed, on the side lines of Egypt Energy Show (EGYPS) 2024, a MoU to strengthen collaboration in digital transformation, Amwal Al Ghad Arabic reported on Wednesday.

The MoU aims to improve collaboration between the parties to achieve their digitisation goals and provide innovative solutions and technologies that meet international standards for digital transformation.

The agreement was signed by Alaa El Batal, CEO of EGPC, and Joshua Chao, Director of the Energy Business Unit at Huawei, in the presence of Tarek El-Molla, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
