Egypt’s exports for BRICS to increase at $7.6bln after new countries join

Trade volume between Egypt and BRICS group is expected to increase after new countries join to $40 billion, of which $7.6 billion worth of Egyptian exports, an official said on Thursday.

According to Egyptian Commercial Service (ESC) chairman Yehia Al-Wathiq Bellah, this vision will depend on the Egyptian government’s skills in being present intensively at BRICS gathering, pointing out that ESC’s entities have established a unit for the BRICS countries.

Egypt’s entry to the BRICS bloc will encourage the promotion of the tourism sector and increase the number of tourists, especially the Russian tourism, Al-Wathiq Bellah added.
