Egypt’s Exports of Building Materials to Arab countries Record EGP5 bln

Throughout the period from January to April 2013, the total volume of the exports of the Egyptian building materials to the Arab countries reached EGP 5 billion, attaining a slight increase than a year before, according to a source for the Foreign Trade sector to “Amwal Al Ghad”.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) was the first country that imported the Egyptian building materials at EGP 1.75 billion, followed by Libya at EGP 864 million, and then Lebanon at EGP 835 million.

This relative value of the total exports of Egypt recorded EGP 13 billion during the first four months of 2013, rose by 18% than the value of the exports at the same period of 2012.
