Egypt’s Finance Says T-Bills Worth EGP 5.5 Bln Sold

Egypt’s Finance Ministry has sold 182-357 day treasury bills totaled at EGP 5.5 billion.

The Ministry has emphasized that the first offering; 91-days are worth EGP 2 billion, as it has been covered 2.1 times recording an average interest rate of 11.613 %, while the highest is 11.652 % and the lowest is 11.249 %.

The Ministry has further pointed out the second offering; 273 -days reached EGP 3.5 billion, as it has been covered 1.7 times, recording an average interest rate of 12.762%, the highest is 12.719%; while the lowest is 12.50%.
