Egypt’s Finance to host handmade, handicrafts, agricultural products fair

Non-government organisations from Alexandria, Siwa, Aswan, Shalateen, and Marsa Matruh will take part on Sunday in an exhibition for handicrafts, handmade, and agricultural industries.

The fifth session of handmade, handicrafts, and agricultural products exhibition for Egyptian boarding cities will be held in Nasr City, under the auspices of Ministry of Finance, and will last until Thursday.

The exhibition targets supporting boarding cities and their products amid the drop of tourism activities.

Minister of Finance Amr EL-Garhy sends his directives to expand into carrying out exhibitions and building sales outlets across Cairo.

The exhibition includes products made by members of NGOs working in Alexandria, Siwa Oasis, Halayeb Triangle, Qena, Aswan, New Valley Governorate, South Sinai Governorate, Arish, and Mersa Matruh.

Ragaa Mansour, head of the central department of financial researches at Egypt’s Ministry of Finance, the exhibition targets continuous communication between Egyptian business community and the NGOs which are responsible for owners of small industries and most needed families that depend on handcrafts and traditional crafts.

Egyptian Finance Minister Amr el-Garhy said the exhibition aims at improving living standards of residents in the boarding cities.

She has stated that the exhibition has become one of the most important annual events organised by the Ministry of Finance, in cooperation with Ministry of Tourism.

The fifth session of the exhibition is going to be held after five months. The forth session was also held within late May.
