Egypt’s GASC to put wheat for sale on EMX next Sunday

Egypt’s state grain buyer, General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has offered quantities of wheat stocks to sale through the Egyptian Mercantile Exchange (EMX), according to Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade’s statement on Tuesday.

This action will start from next Sunday to represent the actual launch date for the Egyptian Commodity Exchange, the statement added.

GASC will be the selling party for the available quantities, which does not affect the strategic reserve, and the Egyptian Holding Company for Silos and Storage (EHCSS) will be the deliver party.
