Egypt’s Housing finalises 106 drinking water and sewage flagships

Egypt Housing Ministry has completed 106 drinking water and wastewater projects in Greater Cairo and Alexandria, with total costs exceeding 6.56 billion Egyptian pounds ($369 million) during three years, said Minister Moustafa Madboly on Saturday.

These works included 19 wastewater projects and 16 drinking water flagships, which serve 11.77 million people, Madboly further stated.

The Egyptian minister added that the housing ministry has also finalised 35 projects in the new cities, with total costs worth 6.84 billion.
