Egypt’s Ministry of Housing is launching and executing 677 service buildings in the new cities, as part of the country’s social housing project, said Minister Moustafa Madbouly of Sunday.
“The ministry has completed 98,000 residential units in 18 new cities within the social housing project,” Madbouly further noted.
The Housing Ministry is currently carrying out other 217,000 residential units, the Egyptian official stated, adding that 41,000 units are being launched in six new cities.
Moreover, Abdel Moteleb Mamdouh, vice-chairman of New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), referred that the country is implementing 36 mosques in various areas among the social housing project, while 23 churches are being executing in the new cities.
