Egypt’s MCIT Signed Protocol With SIS To Develop Tech-Infrastructure

The Information and Communication Technology Ministry (MCIT) and State Information Service (SIS), have signed cooperation protocol in order to develop the Technological Infrastructure and support the portal of (SIS) and this in the headquarters of Information Service in Nasr City.

The protocol aims to develop and modernize the technological infrastructure of (SIS) throughout many main axes representing in the technological infrastructure development including providing computers, printers, networks, and Internet connection, Network security systems, and the live broadcast of SIS’s website, as well as studying and developing computer systems such as Personnel, payroll, budget, accounting, procurement, stores.

Eng. Atef Helmy, (ICT) Minister, said the implementing of this protocol comes during the Ministry’s keenness to coordinate with (SIS) so as to support and invest (ICT) techniques in e-publishing service, and exploiting the available possibilities of the Ministry, with its objectives strategic to maximize the utilization of resources that would contribute to improve the quality of various provided services.

Dr. Mohamed Badr al-Din, Chairman of (SIS), has emphasized that the cooperation with the Ministry comes to confirm the available maximize utilization of the two parties, adaptation in e-publishing fields, transferred correctly to the Egyptian citizens inside and outside the world, pointing out that the cooperation will be extended to exploit the accurate and correct information about Egypt in various fields including political, economic, social, culture.
