Egypt’s Mufti praises Saudi efforts to organise Hajj, services for pilgrims

Egypt’s Grand Mufti Shawki Allam has praised great efforts being exerted by Saudi Arabia  to provide all forms of facilitation and assistance to pilgrims to perform their rituals without obstacles or difficulties and in full safety.

The efforts are under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince in coordination among various concerned parties.

He referred in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on the occasion of Hajj this year 1440 H. to the keenness of the Government of the Kingdom to take advantage of modern means of transportation and communication in order to eliminate traffic congestions during the Hajj season.

Allam specially commended security, medical and food services being provided for pilgrims.

He thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH Crown Prince, Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the General Presidency of the Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque Affairs and all bodies and institutions that serve pilgrims and provide facilities and services for them.
