Egypt’s NileIT to Upgrade Sudan Bourse’s Technological Structure

Egypt’s Nile Information Technology and Dissemination (NileIT) will sign a protocol on cooperation with Khartoum Stock Exchange in the coming period, said general manager Mohammed Omar.

The Egyptian official further clarified that the protocol aims to upgrade the Sudanese bourse’s technological structure through benefiting from NileIT’s most up-to-date technology systems and techniques. This would contribute to achieving the best performance for the Sudanese market’s electronic link-up activities.

NileIT is specialized in the area of financial applications, digital signature, security and compliance as well as providing SWIFT managed services. It represents an array of financial applications for the capital market, financial institutions, corporates and government.

Moreover, Omar said the protocol comes as part of NileIT’s plan to expand into the African markets in accordance with Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA)’s programme.

ITIDA’s programme aims to sign various agreements with all the African states in the coming years.

Nile Information Technology & Dissemination (NileIT) is established by MCDR, the national Clearing, Settlement & Depository of Egypt, National Bank of Egypt and other investors.
