Egypt’s Oil Minister, Schlumberger’s head discuss in talks over Gulf of Suez survey

Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Tarek el-Molla reviewed on Monday with head of Schlumberger oil field services company for the Northern Middle East Region Maan Rezouki activities jointly carried out between the company and the Egyptian oil sector.

The activities include conducting seismic surveys in the Gulf of Suez in a bid to increase the area’s oil production.

Talks covered benefiting from Schlumberger’s expertise and technology in training human cadres operating in the oil sector.

The head of Schlumberger company said the coming period will witness more cooperation with the Egyptian oil sector as the Middle East region is the company’s number one priority.
