Egypt’s PA to discuss “Squandering Public Fund” File on Sunday

Culture, Information and Tourism Committee in Egypt’s Parliament, headed by Mohamed Abdel Moneim Al Sawy, will discuss on Sunday the file of squandering the public fund in the national press institutions as well the debts of these institutions; which reached EGP 13 billion, and this may led to closing them. This discussion came after the briefing request submitted by the MP Omran Megahad.

Responding to the briefing request submitted by the FJP’s MP Ahmedy Kasem, the committee will also discuss the reasons of not transferring 38 journalists from  the newspapers “Al Hakeka (The Truth)”, “Al-Oma (The Nation)” and “Afak Arabiya (Arab Horizens)” to the national press institutions.
