Egypt’s passenger car sales drop 61% YoY in 9 months

Egypt’s passenger car sales dropped 61 percent year-on-year (YoY) to 45,917 during the first nine months of 2023, according to a report by the Automotive Marketing Information Council (AMIC) released on Thursday.

The AMIC report also showed that during the first nine months of 2023, auto car sales declined about 45,000 cars compared to 117,000 cars in the first nine months of last year. However, passenger car sales rose by around 15 percent in September.
