Egypt’s PM Accepts Resignation Of CBE’s Deputy Governor

The Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Kandil has accepted the resignation of Lobna Hilal, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) which announced that the resignation will be effective at the end of this month.

Farouk El-Okdah, Governor of CBE, commended the efforts exerted by Hilal in implementing the banking reform plan which helped the banking sector in averting the direct repercussions of the global financial crisis and dealing with the economic and financial conditions that Egypt has been witnessing since 2011’s revolution.
