Egypt’s PM, Schneider Electric CEO discuss cooperation

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail met last Saturday with Schneider Electric’s Chief Executive Officer in Egypt and North Africa Albert Fuchet, on the sidelines of Africa 2016 investment forum in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm el Sheikh.

Ismail voiced appreciation for the projects being carried out by Schneider in Egypt, which serve the government’s program Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Qawish said.

“There are several mega projects to which the company can contribute in the current period, including the new administrative capital and the development of the Suez Canal region,” Ismail said at the meeting. Ismail praised a solar power plant project being carried out by Schneider in Sharm el Sheikh.

For his part, Fuchet lauded the support provided by the Egyptian government for the company to carry out its projects in Egypt.
