Egypt’s QNB Al Ahli profits rise by 57% in ’23

Qatar National Bank (QNB) Al Ahli, Egypt, witnessed an increase in its net profits in 2023 by 57 per cent, QNB Group wrote on its Facebook page.

According to the bank, the net profits reached 16.2 billion Egyptian pounds, going up from 10.4 billion pounds recorded the year before.

The bank added that the total assets reached 628.8 billion Egyptian pounds, against 483.3 billion a year earlier, rising by 30 per cent.

The Green Loans went up from 228.0 billion Egyptian pounds in 2022, to 266.5 billion Egyptian pounds in 2023. An increase of 17 per cent.

Moreover, the customer deposits soared by 30 per cent to reach 529.6 billion Egyptian pounds, going up from 406.2 billion pounds.

The bank’s total equity soared by 23 per cent to reach 66.6 billion Egyptian pounds, against 54.1 billion pounds recorded in 2022, while the bank’s earning per share climbed to 6.57 Egyptian pounds, up from 4.20 Egyptian pounds in 2022.
