Egypt’s SCZone launches one-stop digital platform for investors

Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) has launched a series of digital one-stop shop services aimed at boosting business efficiency, transparency, and governance, reinforcing its status as a global investment destination and logistics hub.

The announcement was made during an official event at the SCZone’s headquarters in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, attended by senior officials from the SCZone, the Ministry of International Cooperation, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which is partnering in the initiative.

Key features of the new investor e-services platform include a centralised Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that enables real-time project tracking, an intelligent operations management system to automate service applications, and a secure Document Management System (DMS) for efficient handling and retrieval of investment-related documents.

The platform also includes Business Intelligence (BI) tools with custom dashboards to support data-driven decision-making, a user-friendly investor portal offering round-the-clock access to support teams and essential resources, and an integration gateway that facilitates seamless data exchange with internal and external databases. Secure online payment channels are also provided.

Over the next two years, SCZone aims to digitise and streamline 80 key services to enhance user experience, reduce processing times, and ensure smoother interactions for both current and prospective investors.
