The Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) signed on Wednesday a cooperation agreement with Italy’s SITAEL to expand work in satellite technology and space applications.
SITAEL, which specialises in the development and production of satellite systems and subsystems, will collaborate with the agency to strengthen technical ties and support the exchange of expertise, the agency said.
The agreement covers cooperation in satellite development and remote sensing applications, as well as the exploration of potential joint projects.
The agency said the agreement is part of its broader strategy to expand international partnerships in the space sector and to support the use of space technology towards achieving sustainable development goals.
Senior officials from the Egyptian Space Agency and representatives from SITAEL attended the signing ceremony.
