Egypt’s Arab Contractors eyes implementing power plants with foreign companies

Egypt’s state-run construction company, Arab Contractors is studying the possibility of entering into power plant projects in cooperation with foreign companies, its Chairman Mohsen Salah.

The implementation of power plants comes among the company’s strategy to expand and enter into large projects within the local market, Salah added.

He told Amwal Al Ghad that his company is currently studying the implementation of new power plants in number of governorates in cooperation with two Japanese and Korean companies.

Arab contractors has signed initial agreements to carry out power plants paving the way to sign final agreements after finishing the project studies and setting the final cost within 6 months.
