Egypt’s stock exchange in green, posting weekly gains of 18.6 bln pounds

Egypt’s stock exchange has finished this week in green posting weekly gains of 18.6 billion Egyptian Pounds ($1.05 billion).

Indices:

the benchmark index EGX 30 surged by 1.87 percent to reach 14,106 points, said a weekly report issued by the Egyptian Exchange on Saturday.

The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) also upped 1.25 percent to reach 773 points. While, The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose 3.13 percent, taking the index to 1,786 points.

Market Capitalisation:

Market capital  closed on Thursday at 789.661 billion Egyptian pounds, compared with 768.626 billion pounds the previous week.
