Egypt’s stock market indices up on Sunday, EGX 30 ends flat

Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes traded higher on Sunday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index closed flat to 10,845 points.

The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) added 0.73 percent to 2,160 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped rose 0.04 percent to 13,251 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 gained 0.67 percent to 3,118 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 grew 0.47 percent at 2,245 points.

Market Cap   

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 2.4 billion Egyptian pounds ($151.5 million) to close at 653.337 billion pounds on Sunday.

Trading Aggregates          

Also on Sunday, the trading value has approximately reached 981.325 million pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 346.399 million securities executed 33,987 transactions.
